Lpar8894 responds:

I don't know,

That's a very interesting intro melody haha. I really like the fast-paced primary melody! Well done. 1:45 Really great job on a hyped chorus (Idk if it's called that I'm music illiterate). Good job it sounds great!

supermelon-creations responds:

I don't know what it's called either, I'm not that good with words. but thx!!

Well done on this song! I really like the addition you made in 1:26 it really helped give the chorus more depth. A simple but groovy bass line, in the beginning, would have helped grab the listeners attention a bit more (unless it would have gone against the theme you were going for). I really love the whole chaotic theme of it. I'm not too sure what's happening in America currently. All I hear is that riots and that there are people dying there. I don't take any offence to this since I barely know what the whole George Floyd. All I know is he was killed by the police and people are having this whole race thing. It would be a really nice addition if there were quiet rioting and gunshots in 0:22 - 0:3` to further push the whole chaos aesthetic you were going for. Very good song well done (sorry for the long comment haha).

Note: I just realized my comment is longer than the description... oops.

This is one of my best drops I think. The buildup and release tie in well and match exactly what I was trying to go for. I’ve never really made a song like this before, with a constantly changing main melody and instruments. FL doesn’t have stuff like that, in terms of gunshots or screaming, most of their samples may as well be rated R. I know you wouldn’t be offended by this, but in case someone rated it 0 stars because they thought I was trying to diss Floyd I didn’t want that to happen. I have a habit of doing long reviews on songs because simplifying my thoughts seems unnecessary. Giving a long review shows that the reviewer cares about the song and wants the artist to take their feedback seriously (instead of just the word “Florida” in a review on Florida). And here I go rambling.

Sounds amazing!

kadepow11 responds:

Why thank you!!!

I could totally see this being the beginning of an epic song. Great startup.

kadepow11 responds:

thanks!

Sounds amazing. Good job! Despite me knowing you for your castle crasher music I really like this piece. Good job.

DavidOrr responds:

Thanks for listening!

I love the slow calm jazz vibes this gives. Good job!

EezySeven responds:

Thanks, I like more energetic jazz better but I'm still a beginner at jazz composition and slower more relaxing jazz seemed like a good place to start practicing chord progressions I wasn't used to yet.

Wow! This sounds fantastic! Great work.

EezySeven responds:

Thanks! Always nice to receive nice feedback from NG.

The perfect song to vibe to at 3 am. Nice work!

supermelon-creations responds:

WOW IM NOT the only one who does that??¿

Sounds great! I can see that you really tried the jazz genre haha. Since I don't know what any American state is like, I'll assume you represent them realistically with your compositions haha.

50Steaks responds:

Well, Louisiana is more trumpet and blues, but I compromised with saxophone since FL doesn’t have a good trumpet sound.
