I agree with GRMusic, it does sound pretty European. That's not a bad thing though. the song sounds great. The only thing I can think of is the beginning melody being very soft when compared to everything else. This song in general sounds very happy and I really like it. It's nice watching you branch out into different styles with your more recent songs.

It’s hard to make my songs as loud as I want to because if I do, the bass drum ALWAYS distorts and it sounds terrible. Otherwise I think the audio balance in the intro would be better. Alternatively I could have reduced the volume of the super saws to make up for it but then I thought it would be too quiet. It’s a hard balance to strike.

I really like the drum bead you have. I think you really have the percussive aspects of music down. Mixcraft sounds familiar but I can't put my finger on it. Before you purchase Mixcraft, I would recommend checking out some of the other software like Fl Studio, Logic, or even Sibelius. Personally, Sibelius is my preferred software since it's the one I'm the most familiar with. I've messed around with a couple like Fl Studio and it's a perfectly fine software. I haven't used Logic myself but I know of a couple of people who use it. A good place to start with music composition is learning harmonic theory and chord progressions. If you were to look at my songs you'll hear a vivid chord progression. A very summed-up version of the whole chord thing is that the notes in the melody will not clash as long as the notes that are being played is in the chords that the harmony is using. There are heaps of good youtube videos explaining the topic better than I ever could. Anyway, good luck with you music career friend!

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely look into chord progressions before diving back in. FL studio is good from what I've seen and what little I've used, but the $200 is a big deterrent

I love the very ominous feeling that this has. This would be amazing ambiance in a horror movie/game. Great job, this is amazing!

Very nice! I'd love to see this as a finished song. I think it has lots of potential :)

OwenCat1512 responds:

Yeah, I'd actually like that too.

The beginning feels as though I'm being transported into another reality. Song sounds great! Keep it up.

LeviTheBanana responds:

Thank you! I'm glad you had that experience ^^

This reminded me of the time I softlocked Skyrim ;-;. Great song though!

DewKlaw responds:

Yeah, I softlocked so many times in that game.

Woah, for an undiscovered artist you're really good! I really love the relaxing vibe it has. I also really love how you used structure to really make the song progress. I see a bright future for you on Newgrounds! Great job!

DewKlaw responds:
