Hah thank you LOL

This was a rather crenjoyable piece. Out of all your previous works, I do agree that this definitely takes the place at the top. Your amazing use of musical things and nice sounding noises helped me forget the fact that I fell embarrassingly hard for your april fools joke. Gonna get wasted and blast this on the streets of LA.

People will be speaking of this song all the years to come. You made herstory!

50Steaks responds:

I’m sure you weren’t the only one who fell for this. But the geometry dash icon probably gave it away tbh.

I could only imagine how annoying this would have been to manually transcribe. Not going to lie, this made me laugh way harder than it should have. Sounded especially odd since I've recently been binge listening to the original, so the sound of it has just been ingrained into my head.

I'm not going to lie though, the more I listen to it, the more I like it in a sort of sadistic way. The drums 01:57 hit me like a mk1 tank. It's so cursed It's physically hurting me xD.

I can tell you had way too much fun with this lmao. 03:31 sounds so cheery for what the original represented lol. Plot twist there is no war and all the children are happily playing together. To be honest it sounds like Musescore did an april fools joke on you by making the brass die a slow and painful death in all of the loud parts lol.

The harp at the end was also a nice little touch. I appreciate how you took the time to rename all of the sections of the song lol.

I found this so funny that I came up with a few jokes.

How old COD represented war: Warbird
How new COD games represent war: Peacebird

How WW1 was described to potential enlistees: Peacebird
How that great adventure turned out: Warbird

10/10 I am so sad I didn't do anything for april fools.

50Steaks responds:

Yeah so musescore has a feature that allows you to select all notes with a specific note name. So I selected all the Cs, Fs, and Gs and brought them up a half step. Then I had to go through and fix some stuff that was ruined by that change and decided to just keep adding and changing and now we have this.
I love your jokes, especially the COD one because it’s just true. Hardly even feels like a war game anymore.
The drums were one of my favorite additions. It contrasted so much with the original that I just had to do it. And yes you should’ve done something for April fools lmao imagine just another crime 3 and it’s just a complete mess

You have such a cool and unique style

GizzyKittyMusic responds:

Thank you! I often become unsure of my own style so seeing this is very reassuring :)

Mozart has been real quiet since this dropped.

IMASTRANGEGUY responds:

Thanks, dear ;)

This is neat. What did you use to make this?

HellFire0 responds:

i made this in school a while ago so i think i just used a few loops i fdound online from a free website

i have no clue what it was lol

Maybe with a few more years, I can make music just like you. Truly beautiful. I really love the part where you go "Mmm Mmm MMMMM Mm Mm" I think it's a great commentary on the current situation with the OCR and has the potential to spark wide-spread debate on the topic.
