Great creepy vibes. Great job!
Great creepy vibes. Great job!
Sounds great! I like your version more than the original.
Thanks I appreciate it!
Это в значительной степени подводит итоги два тысячи двадцать года. Извините, я очень плохо говорю по-русски.
This is a melodic masterpiece. Despite its abrupt beginning, it gives off the effect of urgency (A very good tool for hooking in listeners and potential fans).
00:06, the introduction of percussion - despite its scarce use- is a very smart decision by the composer as it helps the user feel more grounded and it gives a little more depth to the composition.
00:10, Altering the articulation and the way the notes are sung is done really well in this section. It really gives the feeling of progression throughout the piece. This change tips in right before the song started becoming repetitive -Really great job at that-.
00:16, moving from piano to pianissimo is a really good choice here. It really sets up a great bridging section before the upcoming section. Very great job on that!
00:21, Moving from a pianissimo straight to a forte is a very ballsy move. Most people move away from transitioning sections so abruptly; however, I feel that it was a good choice to use it here since you had already implemented a good bridge.
00:27, with a lot of classical performers, you'll see them show a lot of emotion in their playing. I feel that it was a good decision to make the conscious decision to have a mini-breakdown in this section. I also appreciate how it is quickly diverted into something more silly and playful. This shows how society frowns down upon people sjhowing emf otreion.
00:38, I feel that this mini section of the piece is very important because it gives the professional classically trained soloist some room to "breathe". I believe it is also important because it is sending a message to us all that it is alright to sometimes take some time to just breathe and take a rest. Very good implication in the piece!
00:46, the crescendo here is used effectively since it gives the feeling of the piece escalating and alerting the user that something big is going to happen later on in the piece.
00:51, very professional use of the 8va marking. This really differentiates this section from the others making it stand out. This is very effective if you wish to change things up in your song to avoid making things sound a little too repetitive.
00:57, the use of harmonics is a very neat touch to the piece. I can see that you're really experimenting with dynamics and it's paying off in the final product. Harmonics is a very difficult thing to master and I am impressed that you can do them with such ease.
01:04, I was shocked when I hear this part. I was not expecting such an intense pre-chorus. Most people are afraid to go all out on their pre-choruses since it leaves the potential problem of it outshining the chorus. I see that you are not afraid and you are very knowledgeable about your own skills. You knew exactly how much you can do without it outshining the climax of the piece. I am very impressed with your knowledge and a lot of people struggle to master what you just did.
01:10, I really love the chorus. it's got a very catchy feeling to it and the lyrics are great. I love your use of dynamics and the perfect balance between your chest, throat and diaphragm.
01:29, More use of the percussion. You really know how to have a climactic ending, don't you? Very impressive use of mic peaking and audio panning. I have surround sound headphones and the panning really adds some lovely texture to the piece.
01:36, I really love your use of autistic whale noises. I feel that it gives the piece a refined conclusive ending and it resolves the piece in a very soft and calming manner.
Why did I just review this and treat it as if it was groundbreaking art? I really have no life...
