@tznsync I wonder who made this song. I bet he has quite a few limbs

Very cool! I wish you luck with the deathmatch!

Joel-Phelps responds:

Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Wow, this is lovely! I would just like to mention one thing. I think this piece could benefit a lot from a change in progression, and texture. If you were to skip through the song, you wouldn't hear any big differences between the sections.

The biggest thing would be a shift compositionally. Perhaps a noticeably different chord progression and a section with a slightly different feeling. Though of course keeping in the same overall theme. It'll help the piece tell a story and improve its replayability.

I see that you did switch up the chords slightly at 02:40, but still, I would have liked to see another section that explores a sub-feeling that the overall piece has. Just to give it a little more emotional depth. Making a piece that's nearly 5 minutes long, the last thing you want is for it to get repetitive :)

This song is so peaceful and beautiful. I wish you luck with the deathmatch and I hope you have a lovely year

ChrisisD responds:

Thanks! I do get your point of changing up the chords. This was a deliberate choice though, keeping it extremely simple and letting the buildup and synths do the work.
Thanks for taking the time to review my track! Good luck to you too!

such a lovely song. I hope you have a great day :)

LANPartyAnimal responds:

Thank you! You too

That's a crazy solo mate! Very good song you have here. my biggest feedback would be to tune the vocals a little bit more. There are many areas where the singing is out of tune. It's a really easy fix. I'm pretty sure most DAWs come stock with a vocal tuner. No shame in touching up vocals every now and then, everyone does it ;)

Awesome guitar, I like it!

TentotheC responds:

Thanks, mate!
I used Melodyne quite heavily to tune-up my vocals, it seems I have to get used to it, maybe rather train my voice some more. I’m not a very strong vocalist yet, but in a one-man band this makes do :D
