Oooh! I'd never heard of Rivals of Aether. Of course, I had to check it out and see what as up… and see exactly what you're saying. That's so cool. I love how two different artists can come up with similar designs by chance. We probably had a similar source of inspiration, then went: "what if blue?" lol

I originally made my froggie a very classic green without spots, then took inspiration from poison dart frogs…

Amazing. I agree that this might be one of your best works yet.

Your rendering could be fantastic if you tried blending tones and shadows together with a blending tool. Blending tools make it really easy to make realistic-looking metals.

Thank you man!! I have thought about blending the colors together but at the same time I kind of like that aspect of my drawings with how each color layer is very visible, I will try in the future to blend the colors together to see how it goes but I wanted to stick with this style here because DRG's models don't have a lot of polygons so the triangles are very visible and it gives the metallic parts a really cool shine on them!
