I was contemplating doing something really special for 169 followers or for my 69th song. I decided to go with doing something special for my 69th song instead.

I was chatting with @50Steaks earlier and he mentioned that people had made geometry dash levels based on my songs. I had already somewhat known this because I remember speaking with a person who managed to get my songs whitelisted on GD. But I never really thought much of it. I sort of just forgot about this and moved on with my day, never really taking the time to check them out. This was until 50Steaks sent me some screenshots of what you guys have been making.

Wow, you guys are just incredible. Some of the levels I played blew my mind. You guys are just absolutely wonderful. Playing through the levels was so much fun and hearing my songs being played on GD filled me with so much joy.

I had no idea there was such a wonderful group of people on GD making such impressive levels for my songs. I was honestly stunned at just how many there were. You guys are awesome.

I played them all and I'll likely continue playing them as time goes on xd.

So putting my music on YouTube has been a thing I've always wanted to do. I don't expect to really reach many more people on there, it's just a way for me to share my music with friends online without forcing them to go off whatever they're using and listen to it on Newgrounds.

That being said, if you like my music and want to support me further, then I would appreciate it if you check out my YouTube channel. I may do more on it, maybe record me actually making the music or giving tips to musical newbies.

Hey everyone. I just realized something as the year is coming to an end.

I've only uploaded 2 new songs this year. "The Swing Of Things" was made last year and uploaded this year. The bloodlust one isn't mine. I just helped a little with it. The only two posted this year are the carnival one and the attempt at an EDM one.

I swear I haven't stopped making music. I've just been working on ambitious projects that take multiple months to create. Also, I've been learning a lot about the technical side and doing a lot of practice things to familiarize myself with my DAW and specific plugins. I have a few I can post but my standards have already risen past having them be acceptable. I'll probably make something small for October since it's my favourite month, but I've got exams that I am busy studying for.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and make sure you all knew I was still alive :)

(Quick note: I know it's a big Newgrounds milestone, but it's late and I am lazy so I will not check over my grammar. You'll just have to accept it)

Hello, good folks of Newgrounds,

I am happy to announce that I have reached a life goal milestone on Newgrounds. This has always been in the back of my mind since I joined this forsaken site and I have been looking forward to it since. this very day is what my whole life has been building up to. I have reached something which turns boys into men (it also turns girls into men. We have to be inclusive for the ladies too).

Ever since I was a baby, I always knew that this would be my life goal. Something to strive for and something to give me a reason to wake up. Something which I have worked very hard for. I am very grateful for all those who have supported me since the beginning and for all those who joined in along the way.

Now, you may be saying "Tangerine, my favorite god to whom I will donate all my money, what is it we're celebrating?"

The reason why I am writing this speech at 11 PM at night on a Sunday is that I have reached 69 followers. You may be telling me that this is childish and foolish. To that I say, let me savor the little joy I have left in my life!

Now, as you know, this is a big moment for all Newgrounds users. Reaching 69 followers is a big deal. Not only is that a funny number, but it is 69 people who decided to join me on my journey with music. For all of you who followed me, I am very grateful. However, my journey is not over and I still have much I want to do. I know I have now succeeded in life, but I still have much more music to make. There are still more goals I want to hit (albeit, 420 and 360 will take quite some time)

Now, time to thank people, I guess.

I would like to thank my friends and family. @TomFulp of course because who wouldn't want to thank him? I would like to thank @50Steaks (Because you're cool and kind of the reason this happened) and I would also like to thank @KokoroHatsaru for being my 69th follower.

This wouldn't have been possible without these people (Especially TomFulp because he literally runs the site)

Now, to close off my beautiful heartfelt speech, I would like to add a few comments.

I have been on Newgrounds for nearly two years (I joined in early 2021 and now it's almost 2023). I do owe Newgrounds a lot for my love for music. I don't think I would have continued for as long as I have without the love and support you all have shown me. It may not seem that way, but your comments really motivate me to create more music. I would like to thank everyone who has taken time out of their day to show me love and give me feedback to improve my music. I appreciate you more than words can say.

I post my music in a lot of places, but I don't really care about them as much as I do with Newgrounds. The reason is because of you guys. The Newgrounds community is what makes being an artist so amazing. Being part of a community of people who joke around, help each other out, and support one another. I don't think I can find a community quite like this one anywhere else. I would just like to thank TomFulp one more time for all the hard work he puts into making this website the best it can be. I owe a lot to him and I don't think I will ever be able to pay him back. Thank you Tom for nurturing such a wonderful community.

Wow... that got sappy. Sorry about that, haha. Everything that I've said is true though. It's late now and I am in the 6 am wake-up routine. Thank you to all of you and I wish you a happy career here on Newgrounds and a happy day/life!
